The Light is looking for a Supervisor to work in our dedicated, friendly team and be at the heart of the action.
As a Supervisor you are responsible for the smooth, efficient and effective running of shifts by delegating duties, organising breaks, monitoring attendance and time keeping, maintaining stock levels and supervising the team to ensure that the highest standards are maintained.
Our Supervisors lead our teams to create a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere where our guests can be surprised and delighted with every visit. They achieve this by consistently and sincerely demonstrating our core values combined with their own individual leadership and style.
What we are looking for

  • Previous experience in a hospitality, cinema or leisure environment at a similar level
  • Enthusiasm with a passion for hospitality, film and leisure
  • Confident in leading a team.
  • Able to thrive in a busy high volume, high energy environment.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks with ease.
  • Highly social, motivated and pro-active; acting with professionalism and positivity in all interactions.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • A keen interest in progressing in the Light and learning all areas of the business.
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering excellent guest service
  • Good understanding of general compliance including Food Safety, Health and Safety, Film Laws, Licencing and Fire Safety
