Welding / Fabrication Apprentice / Apprenticeship

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Level 3 training & beyond available for the right candidate

We are also open to applications from those who have lost their apprenticeship due to redundancy and have completed part of a work based apprenticeship

Will be learning welding in several disciplines, metal working, using CNC machinery and more

There is a requirement to be physically fit as this is a manual job

Pay scale depends on experience and skill set, starting rate basic on the apprentice rate is stated without bonus (profit related) or weekend working (not currently required) As training is completed and competency increases so does wages

Must be able to provide references including at least one from previous employment or education

We are looking to start someone by August / September if possible and college based training one day per week at a local college

Some paperwork is required for the qualifications however we can provide support where needed including for those with disabilities

You will be required to drive but not essential at first. This is needed within 3 years of start date. No more than 3 penalty points on licence and no drug / alcohol offences
