Role Overview & Responsibilities

Cafe Assistant Job Description

Duties:
- Assist with food preparation and cooking
- Serve food and beverages to customers
- Clean and sanitize kitchen and dining areas
- Handle cash and credit card transactions
- Maintain inventory of supplies and restock as needed
- Assist with catering events, including set up and clean up
- Provide excellent customer service to all guests
- Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:
- Prior experience in the food industry, hospitality or food service preferred, but full training will be given.
- Knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have reliable transportation

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From £11.00 per hour

• Manchester, M11 2DZ: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

• Catering: 1 year (preferred)
• Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
• Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
• Bartending: 1 year (preferred)
