Warehouse Operative

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are a rapidly expanding food wholesale company based in Birmingham looking for the right candidate with good motivation and a positive attitude to join our team.

As a Warehouse Operative, your main duties will include; picking frozen, fresh and dry goods for customer orders, helping customers with loading and general warehouse upkeep. All PPE will be provided where necessary. Other duties will be required but training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities of Warehouse Operatives:

· Picking & Stacking

· Loading customer orders

· Unloading deliveries

· Lifting & moving products up to 25kg

· Working in exceptionally fast paced environments

· General housekeeping

Skills Required:

· Able to read & write English

· Good communication skills

· Basic numeracy skills

· Must work well under pressure

· Great teamwork ethic

Personal Attributes:

· Good time management

· Works well independently

· Flexible ‘can do’ attitude

· Physically fit

Warehouse Operative Shift Times:

· 6am to 3pm Monday – Saturday

· 8am to 2pm Sunday

· 5 days but you will be required to work 1 weekend day

· 40 + hours
