Role Overview & Responsibilities

Advert

An opportunity has arisen to join the Strategic Planning Team to support the delivery of Kent’s Infrastructure Mapping Platform; a flagship digital tool consolidating and publishing key local infrastructure data to help coordinate the planning and delivery of ‘good’ growth across the County.

As the Data Analyst, you will work as part of a team and will be directly involved in the development of the platform from its initial phase focussing on East Kent, through to a Kent-wide platform in future phases. You will help create a range of interactive apps based on user feedback that will enable users to better assess and plan against the impact of population and housing growth across their services.

You will be an analytical thinker and be able to research available data to produce insights in the field of strategic planning. You will also be aware of the power of geographic information systems (GIS) to maximise the County’s planning potential.

There will also be opportunities to develop and hone your analytical skills with full access to Microsoft’s Enterprise Skill Initiative and KCC’s internal training offer.

Interviews will be held online between 19/06/2023 - 03/07/2023
