Van Driver

Role Overview & Responsibilities

HireGiant are looking for a van driver for our client based in Stevenage. This is a National Client with sites all over the UK and they deliver newspapers into companies that sell newspapers.

The Role:

The van driver will be scanning news papers at the RDC, ready for the van to be loaded for the days deliveries. This role will also involve collecting the newspapers that haven't been delivered the day before. The deliveries and collections will be made to News agents and shops that sell news papers. This is a Hybrid role with work in the warehouse work being a big part of this.

Job Details:

- T5 of 7 day rota

- 0200 am start time

- Delivering and collecting newspapers

-Picking and packing newspapers

- £11 per hour Monday to Friday

- £14 per hour Saturday and Sunday

Requirements

• Must be able to work early starts and shifts
• B Licence
• No more than 6 points
• Hiz Viz
• Safety boots

There is an element of handball to this role with lifting the news papers so please make sure, you're comforatble with this before applying.

Salary: £12.00-£14.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Every weekend
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Stevenage: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Delivery driver experience: 1 year (preferred)
• Driving: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)
