A home and beauty supplier is looking for a Packaging Designer with experience across branded packaging and surface pattern design.
You will be working on design concepts, mock ups and art-working on home fragrance and home gifting packaging across their core ranges, limited editions, and licensed products. Collaborating with the product development team from the very beginning of the packaging concept, all the way through to creating print ready artwork.
Key Skills:
- Adobe software, including Illustrator, Photoshop & inDesign
- Highly creative with a great eye for design, illustration and typography
- High attention to detail
- Strong commercial awareness
- Great organisation and time management skills
- Strong team player
- Experience working from concept through to the artwork process
Responsibilities:
- Taking design projects from initial briefing stage through to print ready artwork
- Work with the product developer to prepare design and packaging concepts
- Create surface pattern design/ illustration by hand or adobe software
- Set up and build physical mock ups
- Continue to develop new design and concepts
- Assist in the approval of relevant colour / design sensitive components of packaging
