Role Overview & Responsibilities

Salary: £17-21per hour

Master Data Administrator roles - inside ir35 - multiple roles available, 4-6 month contracts - hybrid working, office Coventry.

Working within an existing programme as part of a recognised UK business the role is integral maintain accurate product and supplier data from external and internal functions, making it available and supporting business processes throughout the product lifecycle and contributing to company performance.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
The Master Data Team have product and supplier data activities including but not limited to:

  • Inventory data and Supplier set up, change requests and queries
  • Supporting the business with stock code and Supplier queries and acting as point of contact to suppliers
  • Maintain processes and documentation for cleansing, maintenance, and audit activities.
  • Use analytical and Excel skills to include data validation where possible, to minimise inaccuracies
  • Interrogate the quality of product data & look for additional opportunities to review cleanse the data - propose a sequence & approach to tackle
  • Support Master Data team with data cleansing and BAU activities

  • Clear communication skills are essential

  • Manage cross functional team, reps from the business

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Understanding of the retail lifecycle is beneficial and the importance of accurate data across multiple areas of the business
  • Previous experience in data cleansing and governance
  • Experience of industry standard approach to data management practices
  • Logical approach to problem solving
  • Strong excel skills
